HomeLab Fanatic
Proxmox cluster, Active Directory lab, network monitoring, VPNs & firewalls — and running my own tooling against my own setups.
I'm a cybersecurity & network administrator who learns by building, breaking, and defending real infrastructure — not just reading about it. I captained my college CCDC team to a 3rd-place regional finish, defending live services under active attack while keeping them online.
My role is hands-on: hardening systems, watching the wire, and responding to incidents in real time. That kind of pressure rewires how you think about security — every assumption gets tested.
Off the competition floor I run a multi-site homelab — a Proxmox cluster, an Active Directory enterprise lab, VPNs, firewalls and monitoring — the same stack I document at docs.4rji.com and ship as the open-source 4rji binaries. Nothing goes live until it's rock solid.

Team captain. Service defense, system hardening, and live incident response under real attack conditions.
Nothing ships until it's rock solid. Documentation, testing, and verification are non-negotiable.
CompTIA Security+ (ce), an AAS in Cybersecurity & Defense, plus Cisco, Microsoft & Linux administration certificates.
A working knowledge built across labs, competitions, and self-hosted infrastructure — documented page by page at docs.4rji.com.
I may not have a long list of job titles yet — but I've spent years building, breaking, defending, documenting, and automating real technical environments. It comes from hands-on projects: cyber-range development, homelab infrastructure, CCDC leadership, security tooling, and technical writing.
Led training and lab development for competition prep — Linux hardening, Windows services, incident response, logging, networking, and service validation.
Designed practical labs for students and teammates: dashboards, vulnerable services, Linux & Windows hosts, Syslog, RADIUS, TACACS+, web, FTP, and scoring-style validation.
Built security-visibility tooling on Zeek logs and network telemetry with AI-assisted analysis — DNS, HTTP, SSL, connection logs, threat intel, and alert summarization.
Built and run a personal lab on Proxmox, Docker, VPNs, firewalls, Linux servers, monitoring, storage, and self-hosted services.
WireGuard, OpenVPN, pfSense, OPNsense, VLANs, DNS resolvers, tunnels, and reverse proxies for secure remote access and segmented labs.
Scripts and tools that automate workflows, collect system info, analyze logs, generate reports, and speed up repetitive security tasks.
Web tools, dashboards, Electron apps, and documentation pages focused on cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technical learning.
Documented labs across Active Directory attacks, privilege escalation, web vulns, tunneling, reverse shells, C2 concepts, enumeration, and exploitation.
Wazuh, Splunk alerts, Filebeat, auditd, Sandfly, Linux forensics, Zeek, log forwarding, and system-hardening workflows.
Formal credentials behind the hands-on work — every degree, diploma, and certificate verifiable.
I stay current through security, open-source, and technical conferences focused on cybersecurity, infrastructure, AI/security, and defensive tooling.
